"Azerbaijan Society of Clinical Laboratory Specialists" (ASCLS) was founded in order to help the development of the field of clinical laboratory (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Genetics and Pathology), and to unite the efforts of scientists and specialists in this field. The Union carries out its activity on the basis of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Unions and Funds)", other normative-legal acts and the charter. The Union was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan (registration No. 1118-Q62-3573; April 24, 2018).
All the structures of the Union to be created will work diligently to fulfill the tasks arising from the founding purpose. To participate in summarizing the theoretical, experimental and clinical scientific-research works conducted by Azerbaijani scientists; to provide comprehensive assistance in improving the qualifications of members, organizing the discussion of their scientific work, discovery and rationalizing proposals, and their implementation; to help strengthen relations with international scientific organizations, prominent scientists, conduct their joint scientific research, etc. It is one of the main tasks of ASCLS.
It is known that scientific societies and associations related to the profession all over the world work in close cooperation with the relevant industry. New achievements of scientific and social importance are possible only thanks to such collaborations. Considering the above, special attention will be paid to cooperation with relevant industry representatives.
